Rev. Justin Warner
justin@bbpc.org Ext. 705Rev. Justin Warner The Rev. Justin Warner is our Covenant Supply Pastor and Head of Staff here at the Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook. He has served multiple churches in New Jersey and is originally from Marietta, Ohio. Justin holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Masters of Art in Christian Education & Formation (M.A.) from Princeton Theological Seminary. Justin also has a B.A. in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience from The College of Wooster. He is passionate about pastoral care and thrives in creative revitalization during transition seasons. Justin continues to serve as a faculty member for the Art of Transitional Ministry at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center and is a Group Spiritual Director with training from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. In their free time, Justin and his spouse, Melany, enjoy concerts, Broadway shows, world travel, and various global cuisines.
Director of Faith Formation
Rev. Lissette González Sosa
lissette@bbpc.org Ext. 702Rev. Lissette González Sosa serves as Director of Faith Formation at Bound Brook Presbyterian Church. She holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Formation (M.A.), and a Master of Theology and Ecology (M.T.E) from Princeton Theological Seminary. Passionate about intergenerational ministry, Lissette loves helping children, youth, and adults engage faith in creative, meaningful, and authentic ways that connect scripture, justice, compassion, and everyday life. She has served at BBPC for several years, helping shape intergenerational faith formation, creative worship experiences, and community-centered ministry. A proud Puerto Rican pastor, mom to three girls, and part of an ever-growing extended family, she brings warmth, energy, storytelling, and deep curiosity into all aspects of ministry.
Director of Music
Benjamin T. Berman
ben@bbpc.org Ext. 703Benjamin T. Berman is a singer, harpsichordist, conductor, and organist. An alumnus of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, he has served as Music Director of the Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook since 2021. Before joining the staff at BBPC, he was Music Director at First Reformed Church in New Brunswick. Ben has performed with various groups including period instrument ensemble La Fiocco, Makhelat HaMercaz Jewish Community Chorus of Central Jersey, the West Jersey Chamber Music Society, Choral Arts Society, Vocala, and Opera Philadelphia. He toured the Czech Republic in 2018 for The Moravian Synagogues Project; and from 2017 to 2023 he was Music Director of the Hub City Opera and Dance Company, where he conducted the operas Der Mond, La Serva Padrona, Le pauvre matelot, and Goyescas.

The Session is responsible for the mission and governance of the church. Elders are elected by the congregation ordinarily for a three-year term to serve on Session. Elders are assigned to one of the many ministry areas including: Membership & Fellowship, Buildings & Grounds, Faith Formation, Mission, Personnel, Nominating, Stewardship & Strategic Planning, Cemetery, Finance, and Worship & Music. Session typically meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM.

Deacons
Co-moderators of Deacons: Barb Heller & Sharon Dougherty
The office of Deacon is one of empathy, witness, and service. Deacons are elected by the congregation for a three-year term to serve on the Deacon Board. They serve as Christ’s hands and feet in our own community as they nurture members of the congregation. Deacons attend monthly meetings for mutual support and training, and may help with congregational needs as they arise. Desirable characteristics for deacons include sound judgment, compassion, warm sympathies, good listening skills, prayerfulness, and faithfulness. Deacons also typically meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM.
