The sanctuary will be open for worship to a limited number of attendees; attendance will be limited to 50 people, plus worship leaders.
Social distancing by pods will be maintained and masks are required. The sanctuary windows will be open for ventilation. The congregation will not sing, but soloists will be allowed to sing live, un-masked, from a safe distance.
There will be no hearing devices available.
We will of course, continue to stream worship for those unable to be present in the sanctuary.
We realize that this plan is a conservative one given the new CDC guidelines and NJ state requirements. In consultation with the Presbytery, we believe that returning to in-person worship should be a gradual process, and respectful of various degrees of comfort and risk. We value inclusivity and want to make the sanctuary feel as safe as possible for as many as possible. To that end, the Response Team and Session will continue to monitor CDC and State mandates, as well as local COVID statistics, including vaccination rates and will adjust limits and requirements accordingly. We urge your patience and cooperation. There are good days ahead!
If you haven’t already and you are eligible,
please consider being vaccinated to protect yourself and others.
Let’s beat the virus together.
