MOTHER’S DAY CARDS
Presbyterian Women and Mission Commission will again be selling NetWorker’s Mother’s Day cards in exchange for donations to provide insecticide-treated mosquito nets in Africa. Malaria’s death toll is rising. Malaria kills at least one million people a year and is the leading cause of death among children under five in Africa. A gift of $10 will provide a mosquito net and health education for one person. The cards are available in the parlor following all services, April 26, 27 and May 3 & 4. They will be offered at $5 each or 3 for $10. For more information, please contact Carol Wilson at 908-231-1972 or visit www.pcusa.org/health/international.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
The Church Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 and was made possible in part by a gift from the estate of Ruth H. Born, in memory of her parents, Edwin & Christina Legge. The Mission Commission, which administers the fund, is accepting applications for scholarships for 2008. All active members of the church who will be attending junior college, college or seminary this fall are encouraged to apply. Scholarship applications are available outside Linda Owens’ office. Completed forms need to be submitted to the church office no later than May 1, 2008.
On May 11, Pentecost Sunday, a special collection will be taken for the children and youth ministries of the church. This is an annual offering that helps to support our current youth and children’s programming.
